Rick Springfield Arrested
Small scale actor and singer Rick Springfield was arrested for a domestic situation that occured with his wife Barbara.
They allegedly had a loud argument, and the sister in law who overheard had called 911, but hung up before making a report. The police came by anyway as part of the process to make sure that no one was hurt.
Deputies arrived and found that Barbara had some minor injuries to her face and arm. The sheriffs department says that the injuries were not serious and did not require any medical attention. Springfield on the other hand suffered a large blow to his pride and dignity when he wound up spending the night in jail, bailing himself out later the next afternoon. Bail was set at $50,000.The case will be decided by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. There must be enough evidence warranting a serious incident in order to press charges.
Springfield has definitely had a challenge as far as life goes. He played in several bands growing up and had some small success. He also got into the TV scene a bit, with some appearances on the soap, "Young and the Restless" and the "Six Million Dollar Man". Eventually he moved on to become Doctor Drake on "General Hospital".
Several movies, several albums, and a motorcycle crash later, he is making a comeback with a new album and a small tour.
